this yank method of carpet tiling is totally retarded us brits have the better method no fucking about chalk lining a union jack to find a straight line plus we tackify them we never loose laid them in years maybe back in the 80′s like my dad did
You all need to shutup. Carpet tiles were installed where I work and none of them have come up in months, nor has anybody tripped…sure it looks cheap as you lay them down. None of the customers had a clue that they were carpet tiles. We even asked employees.

This video is so much crap.I install several hundred yards of carpet tile a day,and never wear sandals while I am working.This is some of the cheapest installation methods I have ever seen.You should use a full spread method with pressure sensitive adhesive that will still release instead of some kindergarten stickers.And unless you are saving your old carpet,cut it down so it’s easier to roll up and carry out.
does it really hold onto the floor..i would think the carpet pieces would easliy slip..has anyone done this in there own house

i dont know about those little dots holding them tight .. you’l probably walk n trip in bout 2 weeks .. i looks good but i think id use a different adhesive for it to stick to the floor.
this way of doin it is bollox a normal carpet tile is 50cm square so if u use ur brain u can measure the room and string a line so u dont have so much waste u dont need 2 lines unless u jus aint got a clue wot u doin this vid makes it look so hard wen it aint all that..there are so many ways of fittin carpet tiles….amatures lol

Thanks! Just one question though. Rather than cut out lots of pieces for the edges, wouldn’t it be easier to lay full tiles across one edge and work out?
